I've been speaking regularly with Natalie the Office Manager at 2RRR.  She has convinced me that it's time to return to radio.  There's a great opportunity to step right into an existing show - I am to cover Bruce Argyle's show 'Down Memory Lane' for a while.

Those who have followed my adventures for a while will remember that I did 'Down Memory Lane' back in 2003-2004 when Bruce gave up his Wednesday slot.  Now it seems that he's given up radio altogether and so Monday is mine!  This is very exciting!!

Today was just stupidly hot so we went for a drive - not that the car is air conditioned or particularly comfortable, but it seemed a better thing to do than just hang around at home.  It made a change from visiting zeRellies and lounging in their airconditioning.

We continue to have problems with the pigeons living on the porch roof, but we're used to it now.  There is no truth to the rumour that either Mistress Hellen or myself disappeared from 2RRR in order to have babies OR puppies. 

Remember Roxy the guinea pig?  Well, Mistress Hellen decided she'd like to try again with having piggies, since she was OK when looking after Colin and Jenni's one.  Unfortunately, she was worse with the two she acquired - which made for some very uncomfortable times in the house.  Yesterday we found someone who would take them to a good home - and already she's breathing better.

And I've just been WARNED again about too many private details appearing in my diary!
