Streamer's Long Tapes
Streamer loves making long tapes. These are known as
'Standby Tapes' and are an important tool for 2RRR. They are put to air when
an announcer can't make it into the station or there is no show currently
scheduled for that time slot. Some tapes are for general use, and others
are used for a specific show at a specific times slot.
Streamer's general tapes are most frequently used on Sunday night into Monday
morning and early Wednesday morning.
These long programs are recorded onto video tapes, usually on long play mode.
Below are links to the playlists
for her efforts so far.
-

Library stock. Recorded 23 October 2003.

spot & 3-from-1-artist segments). Recorded Christmas Eve

Other Tapes
-
Soul Food (with Mary Ellen) (8 hour): - yes Streamer
is one of the Anonymous Soul Sisters - Scribe Soul, with Mary
Ellen as Panel Soul.
-
Blues (with Mary Ellen) (8 hour): (unfortunately,
this tape 'vanished' presumably stolen - a big BOO &
HISS to the taker)
-
Transmission (4 hour): (Transmission is a show done by
various 2RRR announcers, aired between 1am & 6am Thursdays,
it is now a 5 hour show so you'll probably not hear this one
