There are 3 types of Reverses.

#1 Mule

 

 

 

 

Standing

#6 A report with no ball above the hand holding the scales. Rev. at 0°.
#7 Reported as having a wider ground.
#8 Same as #6 with Rev. at 180°.

I suspect these are from the same die, differences due to wear including strike quality.

Sitting

All the rest - Pin pointing one prominent feature to distinguish each variety has proved difficult.
Two or more features will be required to do this.

 

 

There are 12 varieties of the seated Justice

#3 & 21
#4, 10, 11 & 22 (minor variations in the shield ??)
#5 & 9 (beaded border)

#14 - Reverse die fault at 9 o'clock I have seen on several pieces, do you have one without ?
