June 2010 - update
New obverse discovery

This obverse has the hair starting under the letter B in COLUMBIA, similar
to #3 which is the only other obverse with the hair starting near this position.
However the lettering unlike #3 is spaced and no stop after COLUMBIA.
The closest similar obverse I can find with facial features, neck and base
line are #12 - #14.
The reverse is the same as #20,

About the "CLUB" - I have used the word "club" loosely, there are
no Office bearers or Committee and this site is not intended to be a forum.
I will act as a go-between, uploading information and emailing members of
the update. I envisage this to be once a month (hopefully) but is likely to
be longer.
No member's email address will be forwarded to another
member. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Sharing information is what this club is about.
About me
Name; Ian Hartshorn. Resides; Victoria Australia. I consider myself an average
guy who enjoys the hobby of collecting and learning about coins & tokens.
My collecting started when I was a young boy, taking a break for a number of
years, then getting involved again about 15 years ago. An assoc. member of the
Tasmanian Numismatic Society. A self published booklet on errors and varieties
called Australian Pocket Change 2005. And the odd article for Australasian
Coin & Banknote magazine. Currently doing research on the Charles II Pattern Farthings.
Other interests include - Touring on a recumbent trike, running, cycling and
kayaking.
