Common flag V incused flag

The white arrows point to the St. George Cross, the difference between the
two flags is the cross on the right hand coin which is incused, that is, it
is recessed compared to the flag on the left hand coin.
The St. Andrews Cross and the 7 pointed Star pointed to by the black arrows
are smooth in the recesses.
Take a look at the diagonal cross starting at the 2nd L of millennium on the
LEFT coin, you will notice a rippling effect, on the right hand coin it is
smooth, a similar effect is also in the Star.
There are more subtle differences in the designs, however the flag is the
obvious change.
At this point in time it appears the INCUSED FLAG is the scarce type.
