Anything goes Beef Meat Balls
Ingredients
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 large onion
- soy sauce
- 1 egg
- Couple of handfuls of rolled oats
- Small bunch of parsley
- And any two of:
- 1 large potato, grated
- 1 large carrot, grated
- 2 stalks of celery, finely chopped
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
Method
- Combine all ingredients and roll into meat balls.
- Brown meat balls on both sides in hot frying pan with a little bit of olive oil.
Notes
- Makes dozen meat balls.
- These can be served with vegetables, but our favourite way of eating them is in hamburgers!
- Our Hamburgers: Between two slices of lightly toasted multigrain bread, place a slice of cheese, a couple of slices of short cut bacon, a fried egg, a hamburger and leaf of lettuce. Enjoy!
