Cheesey Quiche
Ingredients
- 1 slice of puff pastry
- 6 slices of short cut bacon, sliced
- 100 g mushrooms, sliced
- Small bunch of chives, finely chopped
- 100 g grated tasty cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 heaped tbsps of corn flour
- 1 heaped tbsp of self-raising flour
Method
- In a quiche dish, place puff pasty and fold to fit. In order (from base to the top) place bacon, mushroom, chives and cheese.
- Whip up eggs, milk and corn flour and pour over the ingredients.
- Bake in a moderate oven until fully cooked (approx 30 mins)
Notes
- Serves four.
- Variations: Also include sliced tomato or silverbeet. Silverbeet must be presteamed.
