CLUB HISTORY

The club was born just from a few mates  who had  Falcons that got together and decided to form a club. Guys like Peter Moore, Joe Abdilla, Brian Scibberas, his father Joe Scibberas, and Brian’s Uncle Darryl. Peter Moore one of the players in the making of this club he is still very much a member in actual fact was awarded lifetime membership.

A flyer was formed and handed out to anyone that they seen driving an XW or XY. The name arrised by the flyer, which read Xw Xy Falcon Owners come join our club, they decided that it was pretty obvious what to call the club from that point onward.

All Ford Day July 1982, was the turning point for the new club after flyers were handed out on that day and generated a great interest that the following meeting the Xw-Xy Falcon Owners Club had more than doubled its membership. (Talk about hard work)

The meetings were then decided to be held at Greystanes Community Centre due to the growing interest in the club, which is still our current meeting place. The success of our club is due to the dedication of these 5 FORD loving men, past and present Committees, members and all friends and families.

The club got started in June 1982, We have seen and still do continue to see members come along with their kids and watch the kids grow in life, till they then invest in these beautiful pieces of machinery themselves and continue the history of this great club running.

We are a family orientated group and believe that’s it’s a good way to meet people that have an interest in the same cars, And as the saying goes the original and the best. (GO FORD)
