The Journey

Starbound began as a wish to provide young adults with an opportunity to learn, rehearse and perform in a professional environment. The 38 cast members (aged 14 to 18) were chosen from over 60 auditionees to take part in an intensive two week rehearsal period to perform 'Starbound 2', a magnificent showcase of singing and dancing.
Along the way the cast has been fortunate to experience a talented and creative production team filled with four choreographers, two directors and three musical directors. We have also been ably assisted by past cast members of 'As You Wish Productions' dropping in to lend a hand and pass on their valuable experience and kind words – thank you.

Launchpad would like to sincerely thank, Sarah, Eddie and Jane – Elise and Nicole - Glenn and Adrian. Of course this production would also not have been possible without the efforts of Mr Tom Willis, pianist extraordinaire! Our appreciation must also be lavished on Ruyton Girls' School for the venue.
Lastly, to the cast of incredible and awe-inspiring young men and women - well done!
Be proud of your achievements, you are all remarkable and we, like the rest of the audience, now await your voices, movements and magic. Take a bow!
