Painting and making artwork has occupied most of my life for over twenty years and has taken many different directions in that time. Having graduated with a Distinction from Sydney’s National Art School as a painting major in Fine Art, I conduct my practice combining digital photography, computer generated art, mixed media and sculptural effects, all based on the technical principles of painting, somewhat influenced by native New Yorker, Joseph Cornell, who is known mostly for his nostalgic and enchanted worlds in boxes. More recently, however I have returned to painting exclusively, still relying on all directions or paths taken previously.
