About Me!!

I was born on the 4th of October 1963 at Box Hill Hospital in Melbourne Australia to my parents John and Margaret Holdsworth. According to my mother I screamed and cried alot as baby! My two older sisters, Helen and Kathryn weren't very keen on having me around!

My dad used to take me camping and he taught me how to shoot a .22 rifle, how to fish, how to light a fire and other bush skills. I suppose that how we became very close.

I wasn't a very good student, I was lazy and used to be a bit of a class clown. Looking back on high school, I wished I had worked harder and taken my studies more seriously, but I suppose who doesn't?

I wanted to make the Army my career, but it wasn't to be. The highlight of my army career was winning my battalion's shooting competition in 1984 and being presented a trophy by my commanding officer.
