Jesse is South Australia's All Time Top Winning Shetland Sheepdog.  He gained his Grand Champion Title before his fourth birthday and 2000th Challenge point only two years later, a feat never before achieved by a Shetland Sheepdog in South Australia.

Jesse is the ultimate showman, almost arrogant in his outlook, yet maintaining the "sweet, alert, gentle intelligence", required of the breed.  During his show career he has been awarded Best Exhibit in Show, All Breeds on Ten occasions and Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show Six times.  He has won 38 Best Exhibit in Group awards and has been Runner up to Best in Group 38 times, including the Adelaide Royal Show.  He qualified and represented the breed for six consecutive years, in South Australia's Battle of the Champions contest.  This was also a first for the breed.

Jesse was campaigned only in top company and almost exclusively in the metropolitan area, rarely travelling to country shows.
