Blake, now reaching maturity, is emerging from the shadow of his illustrious kennelmate Grand Ch. Hillacre Hollywood.

Blake has never failed to win his class "in show" at all Specialty Championship Shows entered, including the 2000 National, taking RCC from junior class, under U.K. Specialist judge Mr Derek Rigby.

In 2001, Blake was R/up BIS under another U.K. Specialist at the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Victoria Championship Show, who said "Most attractive and beautifully coloured Blue Merle, with a wealth of coat of the correct texture.  Instantly appealed for his overall quality.  Lovely head properties, with excellent eye and ear placement giving the desired expression.  Good skull and very nice fill of foreface with good underjaw;  a well balanced dog with his good neck and bend of stifle, looked good in outline.  Moved with ease with good extension and drive."

Besides these Specialty wins, Blake has never been beaten in his class at Royal Shows and in 2001, took out RCC at both Adelaide and Melbourne Royals from Intermediate class.
