Doll's house miniatures - Judy Keena - Australia

Judy's Miniatures

For over 20 years I've been making scale miniatures and dolls' houses.

My main interest is creating historically-accurate pieces, mostly from the Victorian period. I'm particularly fond of making toys and tiny houses.

I'm an active member of the Australian Miniature Enthusiasts Association (AMEA), edit their tiny Times newsletter and teach workshops for them.

Most of the pieces on this site are things I made for my own collection. I occasionally sell work at Australian miniatures shows and AMEA meetings.

In the last couple of years I've branched out into quarter scale miniatures as well. They're also a lot of fun, and could easily fill a web site of their own, so maybe that's a project for the future.

When describing my pieces I've use imperial measurements throughout, because that is what most scale miniaturists still use (...and because I was brought up with them and still think in feet and inches!)

My designs for my Bliss house (above left) and German toy kitchen (above).

I taught both of these as workshops for the Australian Miniature Enthusiasts Association (AMEA).
