Who We Help

Kaiyu Konnect provides opportunities to build your confidence, self-esteem and skills, and to develop friendships.

You must have:

  • A history of mental illness;
  • Be at least 18 years of age; and
  • Have a desire to be a member of the Kaiyu Konnect community.

You do not need a referral from your doctor or care co-ordinator

Our Youth Program - KKEIP well

The Kaiyu Konnect Early Intervention Program (KKEIP well) is designed to support young people who are in their first few years of experiencing symptoms of mental illness. The program is designed to help participants through this difficult, confusing and often isolating time by supporting them in developing better mental health.

For more information, please visit our youth program page.

Becoming a Member of Kaiyu Konnect

You do not have to be a member to attend Kaiyu, all you need to do is visit us. After meeting us and seeing what we do, you can then decide if you want to join. It will help us if you phone before you come so we are expecting you.

For a small fee you can join Kaiyu Konnect. You can be a member for as long as you like.

Finding Us

Kaiyu Konnect is based at the Community Hall in Argenton. We are fairly well linked with public transport. Many buses in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie travel to Glendale Supercentre which is just down the road from us.
