The following pages describe the status of my research into the various branches of the tree. There is also a brief history of each family - where they originated from (as far I know) and where they moved to.

The surnames are listed in the order in which they appear in my ancestry - parents first, then names introduced as spouses of grandparents, and so on.

In theory it should be possible to trace a branch back to at least 1840 - Civil Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths began in 1837 and the first UK Census to list all householders names was taken in 1841. However, any missing, ambigious or conflicting information can break the branch off fairly quickly!
