Naturopath

 

 

Liza is a naturopathic practitioner, educator, writer and broadcaster. She initially graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from the Australian College of Natural Medicine where she now supervises student clinics. She teaches 'Nutrition' at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, 'Health Enhancement' and 'Complementary Medicine in Chronic Conditions' at Monash University (Dept of General Practice) and runs online courses in 'Food as Medicine' for RMIT University.

She is a contributing author to "Herbs & Natural Supplements - An evidence based guide" (Elsevier, 2007) and "Complementary therapies & the management of diabetes & vascular disease" (Wiley, 2006). During the AFL off-season, Liza is a frequent guest on 'Summer in the City' for Melbourne radio station 3aw693, discussing issues to do with complementary medicine and health care.

She is currently completing post-graduate research studies at RMIT University looking at 'detoxification programmes'.

Liza's approach is one of personal care and attention combined with scientific knowledge and research. Her aim is to empower people to improve their vitality and well-being by providing them with dietary and lifestyle advice and [where necessary] safe and effective remedies.
