The half hour shows we see are taken from 2 - 3 hours of taping, which is a *lot* of games (a zillion different "hats" and hundreds of hoedowns included:)).There are no real "breaks" during that time, and often there are two tapings in one day. So to increase the length of the show would be a bit exhausting for the performers. There are so many commercials (and then the credits at the end, which apparently are going to be funny this season, but haven't been in DLiiA's version thus far) that you feel gyped! At least I do. W/ the UK version, it felt as if you got more improv for your buck! And since we KNOW many of the scenes get cut, it would be nice to at least have a compilation ep or two, like the UK version did.
