Ok and my apologies for not showing up to the improv thingy Sunday night I was stuck in bridal shower hell in Scarborough until 7.30pm.and by the time the shower endend I was just knackered! As usual with surprise parties, the guest of honour showed up late.....90 MINUTES LATE!!! So this shower was held at this place called Flippers Fish House by looking at it from the outside you'd think...oh a small gathering at a restaurant but then you go downstairs and there are three huge banquet rooms. My god this bridal shower was like the actual wedding! About 100 people and a sit down dinner! I was beginning to think when I planned my sister's shower last year did I do something wrong? Cause it was at someone's house and it was hey we'll cook our own food. No catering here. I can't wait to see how the wedding will top this bridal shower! Ok now onto Serena's memories of a wild and wooly weekend..... HAPPY HANDS!! HEPA.....(you know the rest Brooke) WHERE'S WALDO? Jenn D's autograph from Devil Andrew COVER ME!! Although I'm barely functioning right now, I did want to mention some thanks and things I learned before I forget (and y'all know how great my memory is, lol). MERCI BEAUCOUP to the con committee for pulling off such a terrific weekend! And a huge amount of gratitude to Colin for being so wonderful. :) It was so cool meeting all the people I hadn't met before. I won't list them all, cause I'm sure to forget some names. But you guys rock! Thanks to Lori for you-know-what and to both Lori and Donna for all the noncon laughs and for helping me lug that body bag around, lol. Thanks to lisa for lending her ear to me when I really needed to talk. Thanks to the two Jeffs and to Josh for driving us around. Much, much appreciated. And special thanks to Dana for putting me in your song :)))) Things I learned this weekend: I suck at improv :) (except maybe at Film & Theatre Styles!) Toronto needs more decent air conditioning Toronto traffic is very scary Beauty is only skin deep :) Canadians are very nationalistic Canadian milk and ketchup are good, Canadian smarties aren't.
