Louise was with her when she was put to sleep. Over our lifetime we have always had a cat in our home, but never one like Jessica. She had an exceptional quiet and gentle nature and interacted with the family in a way that made us feel that she was more than "just a cat". Because of this her passing has left us all feeling a real sense of loss and the house seems a bit empty without her even though we still have Samantha. Our Vet, Stephen, had treated Jessica for her thyroid problem successfully for a little over two years and most likely extended the length of time we had with her. For this we expressed our thanks to him because -
