Poetry For Sandra

Sandra is a very caring friend of mine who lives in Southern California.
We met on the Internet through the Senior Friend Finder pages back in 1999.
Its nice to have a friend who supports one during the times when things do not go as well as we would like them to. Thank you Sandra.

To Sandra On Valentine's Day

Across the miles in a country far away,
There lives a sweet lady, whom yet I have to see.
But upon this very special day,
I send to her my Christian love which will always be.
She is a wonderful friend, like I have never known.
From a short brief note, a true friendships' grown.

This lady sincerely loves the Lord.
She loves to laugh and loves our smiles.
To each other we send our Angel hugs from far abroad
And we share our friendship though parted by the miles,
What more can I offer on this most auspicious day,
But the Love of true Christian friendship from far away.

A poem for Sandra

When I'm feeling sad and blue
I think of friends, especially you.
Although not with me, but far away
You help me have a much better day
So kind, so caring and thoughtful too
How can a day pass without thoughts of you

To Sandra at Easter

Changing seasons, changing climes,
Summer, autumn, winter, spring,
Our love has lasted through these times,
But ne'er to change, like the seasons bring.
The Lord has protected us throughout night and day,
To grant us both, together, in his glory stay.

Upon that cross on Calvarys' Hill.
His tears of shame for us he shed,
That we on earth our life fulfill.
For our salvation, his body bled,
For when our journey, here on earth does end,
We shall unite, with Him, our Heavenly friend.
