About Us

The REMBLAK prefix was established and registered in 2001, since that time we have been members of Dogs Victoria (formally known as the Victorian Canine Association).

Our admiration and interest in the Staffordshire Bull Terrier started many years ago.  We met our first Staffordshire Bull Terrier through long time family friends Robert & Debra Mansfield who often visited and brought along their mate Spud.  Tragically Spud had come from an abusive environment but was fortunate to have been rescued, re-homed and given a second chance at life with people who loved and adored him.  This beautiful boy lived till the ripe old age of 16 years.

My husband and I knew someday we too would be owned by one of these extraordinarily intelligent, fun loving & devoted fur friends.

Mid 2001 saw us welcome to our home a well mannered and devoted loving companion Kane - Chablakmor The Hurricane.  Kane was everything that we could have possibly hoped he would be, a fantastic companion with a temperament like the breed standard calls for

Bold, Fearless & Totally Reliable

So as some may say we had the bug, we wanted to add another Stafford to our family.  A year later, July 2002 saw us welcome our next addition in Nos - Chablakmor Devils Dream.  Nos was our introduction to the world of dog showing.  With limited exposure Nos accumulated more than over half his points required to obtain his Australian Championship Title, however his love for the show ring was dismal, he much preferred to stay at home.  Nos fared well at Stafford specialty shows across the state and was always in the top placings.  He was selectively available at stud and produced some lovely examples of the breed.  Nos was retired in June 2008 from the show ring.    During his showing career he was awarded a Best Exhibit In Show, under a Terrier Specialist Judge Mrs D.Harrison (NSW) a prestigious accolade for any Stafford to be awarded.  At home he is a placid boy, happy to just laze about in the Sun or taunt his friends Ebby & Molly.

Two years later we decided to welcome a female to our family. November 2004, saw us bring home our very first bitch Ebony or Ebby as we refer to her - Australian Champion Tykabul Crazy In Luv.  Ebby was titled with four (25point) challenge award certificates and became the 20th Australian Champion bred under the Tykabul prefix owned by Ms Joy Austin-Cleary a very dear friend of ours.  Ebby had Multiple CCs, BOB / RUBOB, Groups & In Show Wins to her credit and was always placed under Local, Overseas, Interstate, Terrier Specialists and All Breed Judges.  From the beginning of her show debut winning Best Baby Puppy In Show under UK Breed Specialist Judge Mrs Lesley McFayden (Araidh) through to the Australian Bred Class she proved time and time again she was a force to be reckoned with.

We decided in 2008 to breed a litter from our beautiful girl but unfortunately things did not go to plan.  Ebony had 4 puppies (3girls, 1 boy) but unfortunately all were lost due to unforseen complications.  Most established breeders will tell you from time to time, these things can and often do happen.  Thankfully Ebony made a full recovery and returned back to the show ring and again continued with her successes and obtained her final challenge award certificate which gave her the final points to be known as an Australian Champion.

After much deliberation we decided to try and breed from Ebony one more time in hope that she could have a successful litter.  This time all things went smoothly and Ebony whelped 7 beautiful babies in June 2009 (5 boys, 2girls), tragically though one little girl did not make it.  Our puppies Remblak Unleashed, Remblak Pop Ya Collar, Remblak Mad Rush, Remblak Story Teller, Remblak Kiss Ya Mumma & Remblak Corona Miss were all placed in loving homes which continue to keep us updated with their progress.  Ebony was spayed after her litter of puppies and retired from the show ring.  These days she enjoys home life, lounging around the house with her best mates Nos & Molly.

In light of our unsuccessful litter, April 2008 did see us welcome a special addition to the Remblak household in Molly - Australian Champion Seighford Surprise Paket.  Molly came to us from David and Fiona Lowe of Seighford Staffords, who have become very good friends of ours and through them we have been fortunate to share their wealth of knowledge of this wonderful breed.  Molly showed a great deal of promise at an early age and was awarded a Best Baby Puppy In Show under UK Breed Specialist Judge Mr Jamie Mace (Janastaff).  Molly has done extremely well for herself in the show ring and continues to be recognised at an All Breeds & Specialist level.  Her highest award of Runner Up Best in Specialty Show at the Newcastle 12th Championship Show under South African Breed Specialist Judge Mr Franz Coetzer (Zeracious), an exhilarating accolade to receive in hot competition.  That day she was runner up to Australias Breed Record Holder - Australian Grand Champion Rayonnaire Canny Bairn owned by Craig & Jude Frazer of Highbourne Staffords, N.S.W.

At home Molly enjoys nothing more than being pampered by us and keeping the other two dogs in order, she believes she rules the roost and we are all her slaves.  We look forward to the future and hope to welcome another lively addition to our family through Molly in the later part of 2010.
