After months of no progress on the strip plank version of the Kayak
I decided to use the frame to make patterns then get a laser cut plywood kit made.
So far it looks like this is a winner, as long as it floats and sits even in the water I will be very happy.
I have tried to include a few photos below to describe the process.
Anyone out there want to build one?

Out laser cut sheets have arrived and our first job is to cut out all the parts

here is a close up of the bulkheads, these are only a jig for the building phase.

Here is the topdeck stitched on to the bottom, the bottom is all glued and ready to paint. At this stage it looks like you could take it for a paddle

Just to show how light it is I have it above my head, it's not that hevey at all (no ropes involved)
