G OD  -  F ATHER N ATURE

The other concept of GOD — Father Nature.
I don’t know if this theory has ever been put forward before. I suppose if this publication ever sees the light of day, I’ll soon find out. Either that or quite possibly be excommunicated.
What I do know is that I’m able to write this belief and still remain right with my God. If I were of another faith there’d be a price on my head.
       Anyway here goes.
We all understand that there is an earthly force called Mother Nature. And, as with all energies or natures, there is always an accompanying opposite, which helps in the balancing of that specific energy or character. We already know there are Male/Female, Positive/Negative, Good/Bad, Right/Wrong, Ying/Yang, Mother/Father and so on.
So it is logical, at this juncture, to assume there must be an opposite energy to balance the earthly energy and system of Mother Nature.
Well why not the obvious conclusion, an opposite Father Nature.
We can see the structure and beauty of the earth’s nature even if we don’t totally comprehend the complete system and its prevailing confines; the way in which Mother Nature exists with inherent and instinctive, routines, habits and organization; the way the complete system interrelates within itself and ultimately completes a circle that is everyday life.
This could also be true of an unworldly, or mystical if you wish, Father Nature. By unworldly I mean something that isn’t of a material form — of this earth. It has its nature in a very different set of governing codes of practice which, in turn, place the boundaries to human behaviour.
This Father Nature is the required balancing and opposite force to the worldly Mother Nature. A sophisticated, esoteric nature with its own routines, habits and organisational structure, intertwined with Mother Nature. An energy not of this world but still an integral part in the completion of human life — its behaviour. An energy that’s not like the basic life cycle of Mother Nature, where existence is impersonal, brutal and wild.
We are better than that, or at least should be.
The reason I’ve always had this belief, I suppose began with my upbringing of religious instruction but grew to be something more as I turned away from the prescribed dogma of religious belief.
This governing Father Nature does not belong to any religion. It is beyond that. It is inherent within us all. Just like Mother Nature is inherent within its earthly life cycle.
I’m trying not to get too complicated, so you can see how easily there can be another structural energy, albeit spiritual or call it what you will, at work within humankind while still incorporating the earthly, materialistic force of Mother Nature.
I feel, with years of religious instruction, we have lost this basic premise. It’s as though the Father Nature agenda has been taken from us and placed in the hands of religion. It was then covered with dogma and catechism to reveal very little to the layperson of its fundamental significance. Also, the stigma, which a formalised religion has given to the spiritual Father Nature, has left us confused at best, or ignorant in the extreme.
Religion, with its faith and beliefs, is offered, and seen, as an alternative. It’s not. I’m here to inform you it is not a matter of you being religious or otherwise, Father Nature controls everything, whether we like it or not.
There are many who already understand and live righteously within the confines of Father Nature, but don’t belong to any church, religious grouping or openly believe in God. They wouldn’t classify themselves as Christians or even believers. Quite possibly they have never entered a church. Yet they live instinctively knowing there are certain boundaries that govern our lives, from beginning to end. And they adhere to them.
So how did we become so out of touch with our Father Nature?
To tell the truth I don’t have an answer to that, other than to say there may have been other agendas that have influenced the basic teachings and subsequently they handed them down through the ages.
What I do know is that there was a very real human who was directly connected to Father Nature and sought to instruct the people of his day. He wasn’t part of a church or what we’d call religious movement. He was an incredibly gifted person who Father Nature had blessed with this unworldly, spiritual knowledge and understanding. He hadn’t learnt it from any university or college course, or from any of the clergy of His day. In fact He shunned them for their misdirection and falsity of teaching.
He ran his own teaching classes on Father Nature, without books mind you, and then ordered his pupils to spread the word; not His word but that of His Father.
It’s very interesting, don’t you think, that He called this ethereal energy, Father and instructed all that is was not of this world, yet still played a part in the behaviour of our world. It sort of puts a new light on much of His teachings. It most certainly helps to give greater understanding to His outlook on how to live one’s life under the direction of a Father Nature.
Like the gifted people we see today, who without what would be seen as normal effort, are able to grasp the true nature and ability of their gift — musicians, artists, scientists. So too was Jesus able to grasp the enormity of His special gift — spirituality.
He was directly connected to, as He saw it, His Father, which quite obviously made Him the Son of the Father. Jesus was also of this world, a human being. So you can see how He had a relationship in the both worlds, combining within Him the connection between He, Father Nature and humankind.
That’s how He can be seen as a Son of the spiritual Father Nature and the Son of the earthly Mother Nature (Man) - Son of the Father and Son of Man.
