Colac to Crowes line
pronounced "B-YOU - can -n".
Note: All distances (from Colac) on this section of the line include the distance around the balloon loop.
This station had the highest altitude of all narrow gauge stations. It was located in the suburbs of Beech Forest. The approximate location of this station is the intersection of Buchanan St. and another road heading east-west. This other road had no identification when I last visited. It appears to be built on the railway formation to Beech Forest.
Downes claims that this station was a name board alongside the line, Houghton claims that it had a waiting shelter..
