Local parks, gardens and reserves are very popular for ceremonies.
However, it is wise to
check whether the Local Council concerned has any regulations
relating to that area.
A fee is usually payable. Sometimes there is a flat fee; sometimes a fee
is payable per person.
Some Councils will allow the ceremony, but
not the reception.
Others will not allow any form of covering, such
as marquees, to be erected.
Some do not require a fee for ceremonies
during the week, whilst others have a fee irrespective of the day.
It may also be wise to check whether the
fee enables you to actually reserve a spot. It may not.
