I have conducted ceremonies at all of the venues listed here, and have found the staff to be professional and courteous. Please note that I receive no kickbacks for suggesting other wedding service providers. I don’t pay anyone to recommend me, and I don’t give a kickback for recommending me. These venues are only suggestions for your information, and it is up to you to ascertain whether the venues listed are suitable for you.
Local parks, gardens and reserves are very popular for ceremonies.
However, it is wise to check whether the Local Council concerned has any regulations relating to that area.
A fee is usually payable.
Sometimes there is a flat fee; sometimes a fee is payable per person.
Some Councils will allow the ceremony, but not the reception.
Others will not allow any form of covering, such as marquees, to be erected.
Some do not require a fee for ceremonies during the week, whilst others have a fee irrespective of the day.
It may also be wise to check whether the fee enables you to actually reserve a spot.
It may not.
