This website had its humble beginnings back in 1998.

It was formed to provide a user friendly aid to school and university students in deciphering clinical, scientific and engineering units.

Since then the emails of support I have received confirm that this site is one of the quickest and easiest to use converter sites on the net.

Planned future expansion of the SI unit conversion pages would include a link to extended applications for each table.
