STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This Service aims to provide nutritious meals to help clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life.



WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE MEALS

We provide a delivered meal service to people living in the local area who are frail aged, have a disability or care for a frail aged person or a person with a disability.



WHERE DO WE DELIVER

Northern Illawarra Meals on Wheels operates from School Parade Clifton in the North to Rothery Road Corrimal in the South.



HOW TO APPLY FOR MEALS ON WHEELS

Call the Northern Illawarra Meals on Wheels office on 4285 6126. You can be referred to Meals on Wheels by your family, friends, other service providers, doctors and hospitals. We will assess your eligibility and if eligible, our friendly staff will arrange to visit you in your home.



MEAL SERVICE

Hot/cold meals are delivered to your door Monday to Friday between 11:30am and 1:00pm.

Hot meal, dessert or soup and a juice is $6.50
Salad, dessert and a juice is $6.50
Sandwich, dessert and a juice is $4.50
Chinese, Italian or Indian Meals is $4.20
Frozen Meal is $5.00
Frozen Meal and a dessert is $6.25
Frozen Meal and a soup is $6.25
Finger Food - dementia pack is $3.50

A combination of any can be supplied.

Our Service can provide meals for a wide variety of special diets and cultural preferences.
