CENTRE BASED MEALS

From time to time throughout the year, we take our clients out to various venues for a centre based meal so they can enjoy some good food and good company.

Door to door transport is provided.

Meals on Wheels is only one of the many services available to support people to live independently in their own homes.

Northern Illawarra Meals on Wheels is funded under the Department of Ageing, Disability and Homecare (DADHC) through the Home and Community Care Program (HACC). The HACC Program is a joint Commonwealth and State Government initiative.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. It is a great way of supporting those in need in your local community. If you have some spare time once a month, we would really welcome your help.

Deliveries take approximately one hour. Fuel reimbursement is available for delivery drivers.

We offer ongoing training and support to our volunteers. We also hold an annual thank you lunch for our volunteers to show our appreciation.
