Welcome to Drive-ins of the South Pacific.
Hi all. This web page, inspired by Drive-ins Downunder, seeks to record the history of drive-in theatres in South Pacific countries. Many drive-in sites had comprehensively covered Australian, American and Canadian drive-in theatres (and to a lesser extent European drive-in theatres) but there hasn't been much on the Internet about drive-ins that existed on South Pacific islands. These drive-ins are unique in their cultural setting and make for interesting study.
Please note that Drive-in Theatre information and photos for this region is very hard to come by. Please email me if you have any useful information or photos.
