Rules of Engagement
To enhance your enjoyment of the forum:
Do ...
- Be active in the forum. What you put into the forum is what you get out of it.
- Several members of Australian medical school staff are forum members. You are welcome to discuss issues which would also interest other members. If you have a personal or urgent question, please send an email. We cannot guarantee a timely response from any of the medical school staff.
- We encourage informed debate. Debate the topic not the person. If you disagree with someone for their views, state your opinions in a non-threatening, non-hostile manner so that everyone benefits without being personally attacked ("flamed"). Be prepared to agree to disagree.
Don't ...
- If you are being sarcastic, do not be surprised if the other party does not see it that way. You should have said it the way you meant it.
- Please do not try to convert anyone to your way of thinking, whether it be your internet browser/religious preference/or any other kind of preference or choice. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and should not be made to change it because you do not agree with it. If someone offers an opinion with which you disagree, then either disagree in a friendly way or ignore the thread/post.
- Same rules apply in the CBox and Chat Lobby.
Above all ...
- Enjoy and have fun!
