You will need to install the fonts I have used to see some of the uses of Greek and Hebrew fonts correctly. I am replacing those special fonts with Unicode.

They are: BWHebb.ttf and BWGrkl.ttf, which are freely distributable but remain copyrighted by BibleWorks, downloadable from this page of their site.

Downloading the files individually from this page doesn't always work by just clicking. So use the right-click context menu (With one-button Macs, do ctrl-click). If using Netscape / Mozilla / FireFox, the item to click on is "Save link as…". In Internet Explorer, it's "Save Target As…". In Safari it's "Save Linked File As…". In Camino it's "Download Link Target…".

Otherwise you can download in zip format. Download in ZIP format. (If you need the WinZip program, download from WinZip's web site).

To install them, you should only have to copy them to the font directory:

In Windows, they go into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts. I think you will need to reboot to make them work.

In Mac OS X put the fonts into Macintosh HD:Library:Fonts:, then double click on each one in Finder to invoke Font Book, and disable then enable them.

In BeOS the fonts need to go in /boot/home/config/fonts/ttfonts. To make them available without rebooting, run Preferences | Fonts from the deskbar and click on the Rescan button.

If you want to start using BWHebb in your own notes, here is a convenient table in Hebrew alphabetical order to speed up finding the keyboard equivalents. The same thing for BWGrkl is here.

I intend at some point to convert the Hebrew and Greek snippets from the Bible Works fonts to Unicode. That will make these extra fonts unnecessary, and will make the words copy-and-pastable into other apps.
