Masterwork helmet, combining elements of Perrenland and Tusmit styles. The helmet is constructed of a steel alloy Owain learnt from the Dwarves.
The helmet panels are decorated with embossed designs, showing scenes from Nazari's adventures. As there are eight panels, there are also eight seperate images. These are (in no particular order)
The four reinforcing strips are each inlaid in gold with a short definitive quote (in Baklunish) about one of the Four Feet of the Dragon.
The flat strip of metal around the bottom is inlaid with a quote from Al'Akbar - Be a vessel of kindness and emblem of devotion, for the righteous man is both steadfast and merciful. Be not as the untutored infidel, but rather heed your superiors, and submit to their wisdom and guidance. Let the faithful strive always to nurture the seed of Good in the soil of Law, that by doing so they are received into the Garden of Al'Akbar.
The nose guard, cheek guards and neck guard are damascened with gold in a Baklunish style. The cheek-guards also have small green garnets set into them at key points in the decoration. (Garnets are supposed to have magical powers of strength and protection, and have historically been gifts between people as a sign of affection.)
Inside, the helm has a doe-skin lining, and a stamp indicating it is the work of Owain - a triangle containing dwarven runes.
The helmet's name is also Baklunish, and translates as Defender of the Faithful
