List of Feats

Affinity

You have a particular aptitude for interacting with an element or animal.
Prerequisite:
None.
Benefits: Choose an element or type of animal. You receive a +2 bonus on all skill checks relating to that element or animal.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose a different element or animal.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Affluent

Prerequisite: None.
Benefits: You have Wealth 6.
Normal: You have Wealth 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Agile

Prerequisite: Dexterity 1.
Benefits: Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Archer

You can use ranged military weapons effectively.
Prerequisite:
trained in Aim.
Benefits: You receive a +4 item bonus to Aim checks with ranged military weapons.
Normal: You receive a +2 item bonus to Aim checks with ranged military weapons.

Armoured Warrior

You can fight effectively in metal armour .
Prerequisite:
Strength 1.
Benefits: You receive a +4 item bonus to Endure checks against weapon damage when wearing chain mail or full plate. In addition, if you have Strength 2, the item bonus increases to +6 when wearing full plate.
Normal: You receive a +2 item bonus to Endure checks against damage in armour.

Brawler

You can fight effectively with your fists.
Prerequisite:
None.
Benefits: You receive a +2 item bonus to Melee checks when fighting without a weapon.
Normal: You receive no bonus to Melee checks when fighting without a weapon.

Blessed

You can work miracles in the name of the True God.
Prerequisite:
Devout Belief.
Benefits: You can use 2 divine abilities.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose 2 different divine abilities.

Cavalry

You can ride mounts effectively.
Prerequisite:
trained in Ride.
Benefits: When riding a mount, you gain access to any special benefits it confers to its rider. You can use your Ride skill instead of the mount's skill for Acrobatics, Athletics, Endure, Evade and Stealth checks.
Normal: You do not receive any special benefits from riding a mount.

Charismatic

Prerequisite: Charisma 1.
Benefits: Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Clever

Prerequisite: Intelligence 1.
Benefits: Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Dark Bargain

You have made a deal with a powerful arcane creature in exchange for arcane lore.
Prerequisite: None.
Benefits: You receive a +3 bonus to Arcane. In addition, if the deal included telling the arcane creature your True Name, the bonus increases to +5.
Special: Your deal must involve a great cost on your part, though payment of that cost can be due in the future.

Devout Belief

You have a deep and abiding adherence to the True Faith, and have firmly rejected paganism and the arcane.
Prerequisite: None.
Benefits: You receive a +2 item bonus when using a symbol or relic of the True Faith with divine abilities. You add your Wisdom to Religion checks with divine abilities. You gain the Ward (all arcane creatures) divine ability.
Special: You receive a -1 penalty when resisting divine abilities. If you die, your soul leaves the Cycle of Arda. If you properly bury a believer in the True Faith (even one without the Devout Belief feat), their soul leaves the Cycle of Arda.
Restriction: Once you take this feat you cannot use arcane abilities without losing your faith.
Losing Faith: Characters with this feat can lose their faith. If you lose your faith, you can swap Devout Belief for another feat. If you do so, you cannot use divine abilities or use any feats that have Devout Belief as a prerequisite. You can take the Devout Belief feat a second time by atoning.

Divine Grace

Your faith in the True God protects you from danger.
Prerequisite: Devout Belief.
Benefits: You receive a +1 power bonus to Endure, Evade and Focus checks.

Eldritch Mark

You have an affinity for arcane powers of paganism and sorcery (though this does not stop you believing in the True Faith). Arcane creatures are more likely to like you (or at least make you their servant and not kill you when they kill your friends).
Prerequisite: None.
Benefits: You receive a +5 bonus to Negotiate checks against arcane creatures. You know your True Name, which means certain abilities work more reliably on you if the user knows your name. You add your Charisma to Arcane checks with arcane abilities.
Special: You receive a -1 penalty when resisting arcane abilities.

Four-Armed

Prerequisite: Giant creature type.
Benefits: You have four arms.
Normal: You have two arms.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Gunner

You can use pistols and rifles effectively.
Prerequisite:
trained in Aim.
Benefits: You can load pistols and rifles.
Normal: You cannot load pistols and rifles.

Immortal

Prerequisite: Longevity, Timeless, level 11.
Benefits: You do not die from old age.
Special: Arcane creatures automatically have this feat.

Innate Power

You can impose your will on the natural world.
Prerequisite:
Inner Strength.
Benefits: You can use 2 innate abilities.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose 2 different innate abilities.

Inner Strength

You can impose your will on the natural world.
Prerequisite:
None.
Benefits: You add your Charisma to Nature checks with innate abilities. You receive a +1 bonus when resisting innate abilities.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose 2 different innate abilities.

Jack of all Trades

You are a little good at a lot of things.
Prerequisite:
Intelligence 1.
Benefits: You receive a +2 feat bonus to all untrained skills.

Linguist

Prerequisite: Intelligence 1.
Benefits: You know 2 additional languages.
Normal: You know your native language plus one other language.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose 2 different languages.

Longevity

You age slowly.
Prerequisite:
level 3.
Benefits: Your lifespan is twice that of a typical member of your race.

Master Brawler

You can fight very effectively with your fists.
Prerequisite:
Brawler.
Benefits: You receive a +4 item bonus to Melee checks when fighting without a weapon.
Normal: You receive no bonus to Melee checks when fighting without a weapon.

Merfolk

You have gills on your neck and a fish tail instead of legs.
Prerequisite:
Fey creature type.
Benefits: You receive a +4 bonus to Athletics checks when swimming. You can breathe water.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Part-Fey

Your fey heritage shows in your features.
Prerequisite:
None.
Benefits: You have the Fey creature type. You receive a +1 bonus either to Dexterity or to Charisma. You receive a +1 bonus to Perception.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Part-Giant

Your giant heritage shows in your features.
Prerequisite:
None
Benefits: You have the Giant creature type. You receive a +1 bonus either to Strength or to Charisma. You receive a +2 bonus to cold weather Endure checks.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Rich

Prerequisite: Affluent, Wealthy.
Benefits: You have Wealth 16, a Value 30 investment, and a restricted licence.
Normal: You have Wealth 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Skill Focus

Prerequisite: trained in skill.
Benefits: You receive a +3 feat bonus to the skill.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose a different trained skill.

Skill Training

Benefits: You are trained in a skill.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose a different skill.

Soldier

You can use melee military weapons effectively.
Prerequisite:
trained in Melee.
Benefits: You receive a +4 item bonus to Melee checks with melee military weapons.
Normal: You receive a +2 item bonus to Melee checks with melee military weapons.

Sorcery

You are skilled at the arcane arts..
Prerequisite:
Dark Bargain or Eldritch Mark..
Benefits: You can use 2 arcane abilities.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose 2 different arcane abilities.

Strong

Prerequisite: Strength 1.
Benefits: Your Strength score increases by 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Talent

Prerequisite: Dark Bargain or Eldritch Mark for arcane ability; Devout Belief for divine ability; none for innate ability.
Benefits: You can use a specific instance of 1 ability.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat, choose a different ability.

Timeless

Prerequisite: Longevity, level 6
Benefits: You no longer receive age penalties. Any existing age penalties still apply.
Special: Arcane creatures automatically have this feat.

Trick Magic Item

Prerequisite: trained in Acting; Devout Belief for divine magic items
Benefits: You can use Acting instead of the relevant ability skill to activate magic items that require the user to have the Blessed, Innate Power, or Sorcery feat.

Very Rich

Prerequisite: Affluent, Rich, Wealthy.
Benefits: You have Wealth 21, a Value 35 investment, and a strictly restricted licence.
Normal: You have Wealth 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Wealthy

Prerequisite: Affluent.
Benefits: You have Wealth 11, a Value 25 investment, and a regulated licence.
Normal: You have Wealth 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.

Wise

Prerequisite: Wisdom 1.
Benefits: Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Restriction: You can only take this feat during character creation.
