You have a deep and abiding adherence to the True Faith, and have firmly rejected paganism and the arcane.
Prerequisite: None.
Benefit: All divine spells and spell-like effects cast on you are treated as if the caster has expended +1 Power point, at no cost to the caster. If you have the Trick Magic Device feat, you can use the Bluff skill to use divine magic items that you could not normally use. If you cast the Ward spell or use Ward as a spell-like ability, you can choose "all arcane creatures" as a creature type (this affects dragons, fey, giants and undead). You can use your Wisdom instead of your Charisma to determine bonus Power points, improve the DC of your spells, and make any Charisma checks required to cast or control a spell. If you die, your soul leaves the Cycle of Arda once you are properly buried. If you properly bury a believer in the True Faith (even one without the Devout Belief feat), their soul leaves the Cycle of Arda.
Special: Characters with the Spellcasting feat who choose divine magic automatically receive Devout belief as a bonus feat.
Restriction: Once you take this feat you cannot cast arcane spells without losing your faith.
Losing Faith: Characters with this feat can lose their faith. If you lose your faith, you can swap Devout Belief for another feat. If you do so, you cannot cast divine spells, use divine spell-like abilities, or use any feats that have Devout Belief as a prerequisite. You can take the Devout Belief feat a second time by atoning.
