Potestas
An animal is born in Asia which they call a BONNACON, and he has a bullish head and from then on the rest of his body like a horse's mane. The horns are curled round upon themselves with such a multiple convolution that if anyone bumps against them he does not get hurt. But however much his front end does not defend this monster, his belly end is amply sufficient. For when he turns to run away he emits a fart with the contents of his large intestine which covers three acres. And any tree that it reaches catches fire. Thus he drives away his pursuers with noxious excrement. (From page 33 of The Book of Beasts, a translation of a twelfth-century Latin Bestiary by T.H.White, 1954.)
Bonacons are small bull-like animals found on the eastern steppes. Their horns are tightly curled and cannot impale, but the Bonacon's usual strategy when faced with danger is to turn, Hurl Fire from its rear and flee. If pursued, the Bonacon can continue to Hurl Fire, even when Running. The Bonacon can Hurl Fire up to six times before exhausting its reserves, and must wait an hour to regain one use of its Exceptional Ability. Stature 2.
