Blue Suede Rock'n'Roll Club is a group of people who love dancing and socialising through dancing. Dance lessons in Boogie Woogie, rock & roll, rockabilly, ballroom, latin or new vogue are always an important part of Thursday nights.
If you love the 50’s music and want to learn RocknRoll in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere then Brocky's is the place for you. Having danced for around 12 years, Howard welcomes non-dancers right through to advanced students and you don’t need a partner. It is important in Rock'n'Roll dancing that the guy learns to lead and the lady learns to follow while keeping in time and creating your own style. “The Latest in Couples Dancing”, be part of the fastest growing dance style in Australia. Ceroc Club Jive combines the best of Jive, Latin, Salsa, Rock'n'Roll and other dance styles. Ceroc Modern Jive owes it's popularity to simplified footwork which unshackles conventional dancing as it can be danced to any music, from Top 40s through to your old favourites. Within just 6-8 weeks you'll have learnt enough to head out and dance at pubs, clubs or wherever there's music.

Danceroc was founded in Perth in 2002 following an increasing demand by people of all ages to learn modern partner dancing without the rigors of grading and strict classroom procedures. We operate out of some of Perth's best social dance venues with live bands, great music and the opportunity to regularly mix among all sorts of other party people. No matter whether the music is today's top 40, techno, disco, rock & roll, swing or even latin, we can dance to it as long as it has a beat. beginners & advanced.
Our classes are a lot fun & we feel we have a lot to offer whether it's for
those who have never danced a step in their life but want give it go! or
those who are already dancing but would like to try a new style or perhaps
just learn some new moves.
We also teach drops, lifts & slides for those who are a bit more
adventurous.
JDK Pub Jiving provides an opportunity for people of all ages to learn to "Pubjive", in a relaxed, fun environment. The focus is on teaching "social" dancing leaving out the "strictly ballroom" stuff, but more importantly teaching people to laugh when mistakes are made. Enjoy meeting lots of new people, enjoy the music and the exercise!

Friendly and unassuming, both are very approachable and only want to see you have some fun in their classes. Don’t sweat the small stuff, and if you don’t pick it up straight away – no problem!!

Cheryl Glasgow
Cheryl has been teaching Lindy Hop longer than any other teacher in Perth, and with the ceasing of Swing Junction weekly classes, is now running her own swing school, SwingCrazy. Her philosophy is that you come to class to learn, but you practice on the social dance floor....and the sooner the better! Her dance style is laid back and playful and quietly creative with a little kick to it.
Sophie Yesberg & Greg Player
Sophie has a strong contemporary and dance teaching background. She holds a Degree in Dance. Swing dance was immediately attractive to Sophie, as it has similar concepts, playfulness and creativity to Contact Improvisation, another passion of hers. Sophie’s aim, in teaching for SwingZing, is to impart the immense joy of swing dance and music to the Perth community. Sophie believes swing dance is an ideal form of exercise mixed with creativity, which can be practised and enjoyed by people of any age and skill level.
Greg is proficient in many disciplines of ballroom, he has gained achievements of Gold Latin, Silver Ballroom and Silver New Vogue. Greg loves the variety of swing styles - Balboa, Collegiate Shag and Lindy Hop, and the wonderful tunes of the 30's and 40's swing era. Through teaching swing, Greg hopes people can enjoy the exuberant feeling of releasing their inhibitions while dancing to a wide variety of swing music and meeting like minded people world wide.
