Bustier (n.) a form fitting sleeveless and usually strapless woman's top. Can be worn as lingerie, or evening attire. Bustiers are not the same as corsets. These bustiers are boned with thick acrylic - not steel. They will cinch your waist in and support you, but they are not suitable for permanently altering your waist shape.

Please use the above measurements to ensure a perfect fit - remember, the bustiers have adjustable back ribbons, which can add 1-2 extra sizes either way (so don't stress too much about getting the perfect size- when in doubt, go with the size 1-2" smaller than your waist) Other sizes are available upon request.

The club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month except January. Most months we attempt to get a guest speaker from outside the club. The speakers are often musicians from the 50's or 60's or people who were associated with the music industry in that era.

Admission is $2.00 which goes towards the hall hire cost and also a supper which is provided at the conclusion of the meeting. Meetings commence at 7:45pm, but come along about 20 minutes earlier to socialise and maybe buy, sell or swap records. Visitors - You do not have to be a member to attend a meeting. However, we do require you to become a financial member if you wish to attend three or more meetings within a year.

Sue developed a love of sewing since her mother gave her a reconditioned sewing machine when she was about 15 years old. Before that, she had been hand sewing dresses for her dolls. In 1996/7 she discovered dancing and Lindy Hop.

Greg had a love of restoring old cars and also came from the dancing scene, having taught rockabilly in Canberra.

When we met, we decided to learn Hollywood Swing together and found we both liked the whole retro scene which included the vintage clothing of the swing era. Due to a rareness of good quality vintage clothing (50 years is a long time for a shirt, trousers or dress to hang together and still stay like new), Satchmo5 was born.

Louis Armstrong, the great trumpet player, was from the swing era. His nickname is "Satchmo". We thought the name appropriate for a line of clothing that is reminiscent of that time. (One day we might tell you about the 5).

Rock'n'Roll Record Collectors Club of WA	The Rock and Roll Record Collectors Club of Western Australia was formed in 1984 as a means for lovers and collectors of popular music of the 1950's and 1960's to meet on a regular basis, to exchange news and information about the musical acts of that era and to buy swap and sell records of that era.
