Rags that Rock
Edgy gear referencing the 40s, 50s
and 60s

Rags that Rock is a range of gear referencing the 40s, 50s and 60s for swing, rock'n'roll and rockabilly fans and dancers. The gear incorporates images and styles of the era, but uses edgy trims, treatments and elements to give them a fresh look. We don't want to just rehash the era, we want to keep it alive, and for that the style must adapt and grow.
Rags that Rock garments are generally one offs. So you won't run into a dozen other people at a function in the same outfit. Wherever possible, even the badges are embroidered using different colour combinations each time (of course this has its limits).
Girls, do you love lace-up tops and bustiers, but don't have the figure to carry them off? Rags that Rock incorporates lacing into waistcoats and jackets so you can have the look, without the bulges. The idea is an edgy, retro look, that looks good, and is flattering whether you are fit, thin, trim, Rubenesque or simply voluptuous!
Guys, the t-shirts are black, Bonds, raglan short-sleeve, so they look the period, and look good whether you’re the next Mr Universe, or not.
Don't throw out your favourite jacket, jeans or shirt because it has a stain or tear. For those of you who're green, keen and want to recycle, wherever possible, Rags that Rocks works with old garments giving them a fresh new look and extending their life. If you've got a favourite denim jacket, shirt, jeans, skirt or waistcoat, that fits the way you like, send it in for a revamp. We'll give it new life and if necessary discretely place rock'n'roll patches on its thin spots or stains.
The range of products on offer at Rags that Rock will vary greatly from month to month to keep prices down and take advantage of what's on special. We'll hand on the special prices, but that means styles will vary depending on what's on special, or what's available at the time for recycling. So don't decide to wait and buy later...the item may not be available again.
