RWD designs and produces exquisite mosaics from a variety of materials such as natural and tinted marble, ceramic and vitrified tiles, stone, smalti and vitrious glass. Rebecca works with a small core group of artisans from varying disciplines. Rebecca trained herself in the art through reading and studying the techniques in books and spending many years perfecting the craft.

Rebecca designs just about all of the commissioned work that comes through her Studio, with the exception of the occasional designs being supplied by her customers. An example of this was her involvement in the high profile project, Palazzo Versace Boutique Hotel on the Gold Coast, Australia.

All of the designs, and specifications were supplied by the Versace Corporation,then detailed and directed by Sunland developers and DBI Architects. This work took 12 artisans, 8 weeks to produce and 10 days to install.
Besides the larger commercial mosaics, Rebecca receives many private and residential commissions from customers who appreciate original artworks and want something custom made to complement their individual environments.
