Rebecca Wilkie was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1964. After graduating from the Queensland College of Art with a diploma majoring in Graphic Arts, Rebecca worked as an artist under the supervision of top Queensland graphic artist, John Garnsworthy.

In 1988 Rebecca established her own studio in Sydney, producing designs for garments and articles including ceramic mugs and wrapping paper. These were on sale at Brisbane’s Expo as well as resort stores throughout Australia’s East Coast.

After extensive travel throughout Europe and North Africa, Rebecca returned to Brisbane to establish Rebecca Wilkie Designs (RWD) in Brisbane. RWD now produces a range of products, designed by Rebecca, including ceramic tiles, mosaics, murals and corporate uniforms.
