J6C motor catamaran
The J6C is actually L.O.A. 7mts plus transom hung stbd kick up rudder.
The J6C has been designed with an emphasis on motoring so there is a full plywood cover over the cockpit with 5'10" headroom at the entry b/h end and a full 6' at the aft end. There is the usual J6 main cabin with it's twin entries and galley forward of the entry b/h. This area comprises space for an 8'*4' double berth. A galley may be built to port and a porta potti placed to starboard shielded with shower curtain if required. Large lockers accessable from inside the J6C are forward of this. One of these would be suitable for life jackets. The others for clothes and other goods. Aft of the main cabin are 2'10"tall * just over 2' wide minimum aft berths. Fitted with screw out hatches in the seat fronts, these make comfy berths at 8' long. I have slept many a night in the J 6 quarter berth and find it most comfortable.
