The animations require Apple's Quicktime 3. They are best viewed with your monitor set to thousands or millions of colours.

Oz21: Australia's Cultural Dreaming

This CDROM contains about 600MByte of graphics, Director movies, Quicktime video and audio. A museum metaphor is used that is programmed in object-oriented Lingo. This CDROM was designed by Kitty Vigo and Josie Arnold at Swinburne University of Technology, to be a resource for courses in "Media Studies", "Aboriginal Studies", "Popular Culture" and "Science, Technology and Society". Australian Album of the 20th Century. This presentation is located in the 20th Century Room of the Museum.

Science Laboratory . This is a room in the museum that emphasises the disquiet with science that is common amongst academics with a Humanities background.

Aboriginal Science Room. This room is largely an attempt to improve the reputation of Australian Aborigines.

Information Superhighway . This corridor leads to the Aboriginal Science Room and the Science Laboratory. It represents an attempt to explore both the promise and the hypothetical problems of a social change wrought by a technical and economic innovation. The discourse is largely influenced by the formulas of Postmodernism/left-wing ideology.
