Kata Training in Childers for brown and black belts
24th/25th February 2007

This is the first time that Shihan Takahashi has offered a kata only seminar in Queensland and we were privileged for this opportunity. We all showed up ready to train hard and sure enough we experienced what we expected plus more. Changes to katas were learnt, new katas were rediscovered and techniques are improved. As an individual club or state member the weekend were successful in so many ways. Each club showed great willingness to learn and develop and as a State we were all united which will make the state stronger than ever before. It was great to see a few of our members go to this seminar with Sensei Mike, Sensei Brad, Sempai Nga, Erwin, Sean, Craig, Grant, Naydine and Amber (brown belt) were present. We would also like to mention Sempai Sheanna from Sensei Dions club SA for joining us in Queensland.
