So
armed with pencils and paper, drawings of clothes could
be found all over her desk at any given time and occasionally
in the margins of her math and science books too. During
High School she was approached to design the costumes
for the school’s Rock Eisteddfod troupe. This
led to steep learning curve of learning to design for

As
a freelance worker she has worked for labels such as
Insight, Volcom, O’Neill, Rittenhouse, Ionic resin,
Perry & Fowler, Dragster, Sporte Leisure, ISC, Vinetex,
DK Leather, OLHC school and many others.
While
working freelance she also launched Rocket Fuel fulfilling
a lifelong dream of being a designer of her own label.
Now with her energies directed towards growing her own
label expect to hear more about Rocket Fuel and Susan
Goodwin.

100 students factoring in lighting and an abundance
of sequins. Picking up a costume award along the way
it was certainly a step in the right direction.
After
high school it was time to leave her hometown of Lismore
and head off for further study. The next three years
was spent studying at Moreton Institute of TAFE in Brisbane,
including representing Australia at International Fashion
Students week at the Florence Biennale. |
