Playground CD:
Sixties lounge music swoons through the speakers
washing the room with feminine harmonies and an
intricate web of marimba, strings, trombone, guitar,
theremin and drums. In their debut effort Brisbane's
own atmospheric pop group have shimmied their
arrangements into a release that tingles ears and throat
(I just couldn't stop myself from singing along...
"I've seen better days than this..."). Percussive
music at its best, Playground is a success for the
seven- piece band and this musical stratosphere proves
we can look forward to much more.

Live at The Globe 2 July 05:
Beginning in the crowd with a bell-ringing intro, they
proceed to wake everyone up with their brand of chirpy
chamber-pop. While the band are held down by marimba,
drums, guitar and bass, trombone, violin, vocals and
synth add a delightful edge to the sound. The band
are at full force during the encore with 'Tonight'
offering sweet harmonies, spaced-out theremin and
vibra-slap rattle.
