The 2002 Australian HO Slot Car Super Stock and Open Championships were held at 'Mad Max Motorplex' (Kempsey NSW) on the
weekend 14/15 September. It was the third consecutive year that 'Mad Max
Motorplex' had hosted the Australian titles.

Saturday saw the inaugural Australian
Super Stock Championship for  F1/Indy Cars, with Round 1 of the Heats for the Australian Open Championship held Saturday
evening.

Rounds 2 and 3 of the Heats, together with the Finals for the Australian Open Championship, were completed early Sunday.
