What is an Eruv?

An Eruv is an inconspicuous, religiously identifiable perimeter that will facilitate the carrying and transporting of items in public areas by members of the St Ives Jewish community on Shabbat and Holy Days, which would otherwise be prohibited under religious laws.

Where is the Northern Eruv?

The Northern Eruv is in the process of being constructed in St Ives on the upper north shore of Sydney, Australia. Click here to view the proposed route.
