Hi , a work in progress as is all life i guess. A tribute to my wonderful wife and my fabulous kids.

It is now March 2008 , i need to update a few new photos .
27th March and here are some new ones for you to see.....
Mid April and renovations are finally under way.

Slowly anyway folks, lots of stops and starts but progress is being made. the old garage doors are off and the sliding door and window are in. outside cladding is going up and the garage doors are on ebay... ready to gyproc any day soon....

Master Sean Hunter's Birthday.... a McDonalds party and a good time had by all...
and we didnt have to clean up either!!!

Well , its been a stressful few months. The original builder did such a poor job we had to let him go. Windows not straight walls crocked. Overall i think the job was too much for him but he wouldn't admit it. Many time he just stood thinking of how to do something at my expense. These are hard things to do but you have to do it otherwise the regrets you will have with the job not being as good as it could have been will dispell our enjoyment of the final product. On a good point we found a good electrician who finished all the lighting and power points. He knew a builder he has worked with before so we hired him. he also went past his quoted price but i think it was worth it , just a bad quote on his part. we have painted the new rooms and are just waiting for the tiler to arrive Thursday . Soon we can start moving stuff in!!!! I will add a few more pictures soon.

well we are using our new space, there are still a few things to do. some final sealing of the outside and some minor repairs out the back.... got the kitchen cupboards to install in the laundry. The wash basin is now in ,big drama that. as usual everything costs more than they quote.......i will now search for some before and after photo pairs to put up so stay put...
