Our 5 new chooks, straight out of the box & checking out the fine view.


Gazing to grazing. After about 9 & a half seconds of view-gazing, it was time to get to work - mowing the grass!


Our chooks are 10 week-old ISA Brown - a cross between Rhode Island Red & Rhode Island White. They're good egg-layers. They should start laying in about 6 weeks.


We've decided to name our chooks after the wives & mistresses of Henry VIII! We had to include mistresses cos he married 3 Catherines & a couple of Annes!
So our chooks are: Catherine, Anne, Jane, Mary, & Elizabeth.


Of course, we're having a little difficulty telling them apart.
